Pottering Around

Two Hundred years later

My name is Jane Eyre
And I came by wizard fire
From two hundred years ago
My reason, as you very well know

I want to meet Harry Potter
And JK Rowling, his author
We know of the magic
Even in the past, no gimmick!

I want to go to Hogwarts School
I think it would be really cool
I'll meet Hermione and Ron
And a hippogriff and unicorn

Here I am at Diagon Alley
And everyone is friendly and pally!
I'll get a wand and a cauldron too
And maybe an owl - a postman true!

So here I am from two centuries ago
Seeing English Literature grow
When new characters mix with old
You don't need 'A stone' to create gold!
