Just a poem

Bitter steel

But then I thought

They could have had

The time to call

And say hello

What did I miss

Throughout my life

That went all wrong

I do not know

How far they look

Those distant stars

Beyond the reach

And yet they glow

How dark it is

Down in the ocean

Yet there is life

Deep down below

What makes a seed

Buried in darkness

Turns into flower

How does it grow

Because they asked

If I'm an alien

Although I know

But I said no

I must have lived

On the planet Earth

And that was millions

Of years ago.

Since then, I'm waiting

For them to have

The time to call me

And say hello
