Just a poem

The ballad of misery

Images keep winding

Circles roll in vain

Echoes of my heartbeats

Pounding in my brain

Yesterday was killed

Tomorrow will be slain

Angels and demons won't

Roll back time again

When we failed to sustain

What we had to sustain

Chances were wasted

To change or refrain

Is birth a happy ending

And death a one way lane

A trail to the happiness

Or a track for pain

In seeking more answers

More questions remain

Buried are the answers

In a desolate terrain

Are the hands we're raising

Meant to ask, or to sain

What use is for learning

If it will not contain

Reasons, as who does

Our destinies pertain

We're looking for reasons

In books that explain

How Eve beguiled Adam

And why Abel killed Cain

My mother was a no one

Could cry but not complain

When she lost all her aces

More losing was her gain

Pain was her bearing

And bearing was her train

The last words she told me

I will not see you again

Ever since, still her voice

Is trembling in my vein

In circles they chained me

And the light was my chain

All their claims were naked

And their lies were plain

When I said I'm not evil

They said but you're insane

When the judge released me

The jury claimed, feign

And the public in their anger

Smashed court room's domain

I am the king of nonsense

Nonsense is my reign

In my belief a mountain

In origin was a plane

My subjects are illusions

Mirage of mist, and rain

Loyal are my subjects

Devoted to maintain

The boundaries of kingdom

Where images never wane

Winding then rewinding

Circles and roll in vain
