A story of courage

A year ago the woman would never have thought that tonight was possible. A year ago she had walked in broken, a shattered and desperate shadow of who sat in the room tonight. The shadow she had left behind, but not forgotten, could not have conceived of the world of possibility that laid before her. A world that whispered beautiful promises that over time had been etched into the very core of all she believed and held valuable.

There were people around her. A lot of people actually. And she knew every one of them, each one of them had been present throughout her journey to offer support and advice if she was willing to reach out. And isn't that what the secret was all about? Having the courage to reach out and take the hands offered in the fellowship? And it had taken a long time for her to find that courage.
