Delightfully Patched They say that love will find its way, but mine got lost near Marseille. So now I dance with socks unmatched, the single life, delightfully patched. I bought a chair that seats just one, the matching set was “slightly gone.” It creaks like it has tales to spill but mostly just complains, and still I dine alone with flair and grace, one placemat in a sea of space. My fork’s in charge, the spoon agrees, the knife just wants some boundaries. |
