A song of grief

Sometimes as humans we battle grief, we overcome it and then that grief comes back…. And sometimes for me as a Christian I battle the thoughts of being alone and feeling alone…and tonight 6/10/25 memories of my Grandma who passed away back in Dec. 2020, my Grandpa Oct. 2021, and one of my best-friends Nov. 2023 all came pouring in at once… in that moment of grief I wrote this… this song is the emotions i feel during heavy moments of grief… but I know God is with me through it…sometimes in the moment it feels like He isnt and that is just the pain and lies from the enemy…

I lay in my bed late at night, I thought I overcame this fight

Memories of Her came to me, tears pouring down my face

Every tear that has fallen, are filled with memories

God why must I feel this despair, I know you say your close to the broken hearted

But why do I feel so deserted, drowning in a pool of grief.

My heart freezing in place, my chest feels like ice piercing me
