Friday Party Prank Causes Major Mix-Up

Last Friday, a group of unknown assailants interrupted a major party at Mackenzie Flannigan's home in Stately Hill, causing major chaos. Their purpose involved the members of Edgefield High's cheer squad - including cheer squad captain Sonya Xie as well as several members of the group, alongside their companions.

According to the party organizer, the cheer squad allegedly abandoned the premises with the assailants, who used hoodies to hide their identities. Later on, Miss Flannigan reports one of her security crew finding the cheerleaders' companions naked, and shortly after the cheerleaders themselves would appear dressed in their companions' clothes. Though the particulars - such as the identities of the perpetrators and details about what happened - are still unclear, this provoked a major misunderstanding as one of the cheerleaders found herself in the same room as another Edgefield student.

The student, Miguel Reyes Jr., was brought to the party under as-of-yet mysterious circumstances, only to wake up alongside one of the missing cheerleaders, Lindsey White, in one of the rooms upstairs. According to Miss Flannigan, Mr. Reyes and Miss White were together, requesting one of the rooms.

But, in Mr. Reyes's own words, he was unaware of how he appeared at the room, or why he was at the party in the first place. "I wake up," he claims, "and I see [Miss White] screaming at me. I tell her to calm down, that I don't know how I got there, [...] [that] I'm gonna help her get to the bottom of it, but she just storms off".

Miss White's comments, however, suggest she may not have been in her full senses, and that this situation may be tied to what happened to her fellow cheerleaders. "I'm on a bed," she claims, "and my clothes don't seem to fit, and I freak out." Allegedly, as she sees Mr. Reyes, she fears he may have drugged him, as she doesn't remember anything outside of drinking the punch offered in the party.

Though Miss White's tale clashes with that of Mr. Reyes, her claim correlates to a later finding confirmed by Miss Flannigan, who suggested the punch served may have been altered. This is also confirmed by a confidence (who has requested anonymity) that left the party early, only to appear elsewhere, and who may have also consumed the drink.

As we asked for comments, Miss Flannigan mentioned she was unaware of the spiked punch and immediately disposed of it and has requested the student body for cooperation in finding the culprits. This cooperation may be vital in explaining the events leading to the prank and also clarify the discrepancies between the clashing tales.
