A poem on my thoughts about America. |
| America, America your beacon was bright. The thief of discontent came in the night. Once proud and a leader in a fight. Men and women refused to cry. Men and women fought and died. Our beliefs were solid, just, and right. We've lost our way, let's pray tonight. Only for Him, Christ our Lord We'll bend a knee despite the scorne. The times have changed, to the enemies delight. Confusing the masses with hate, and fight. The tides are turning, our future is bright. We the people are ready to fight. So raise the flag morning, noon, and night. We have a leader whose bold and right. Our heart is strong, noble and bright. All the naysayers can take a hike. Our country will fight for all our rights. |
