Chapter 1: a great day
Once upon a time there was a boy named James, James was a 16-year-old boy, with brown hair, blue eyes, a red shirt with the words "A journey through space" on it, and black pants. and he loved anime, he loved the action, the drama, and most of all the character's stories. His favorite tv show was an anime tv show called, a journey through space. On the day our story starts, he was on season 3, episode 9, where his favorite character had just died. "Oh no!" Said James while eating popcorn, "not Jason he still needs to find Kyla!" then one of Jason's teammates Ryla, healed him with her magic powers and everybody cheered especially James. "Woo Hoo!" He said, just then his sister Lonia came home. His sister had the same color hair and eyes as James, but she was wearing a black spider print dress. "Keep the anime obsession down" she said, "sorry," said James, "my favorite character just came back to life!" "whatever" said Lonia "I'm going to take a shower and if you interrupt me one more time with your crazy fangirling, I'll-" "okay ok" said James "oh yes! I knew Ryla was secretly evil." "ugh" said Lonia. Then, as soon as Lonia went upstairs, a vase clattered to the floor, and the tv paused, and it said, are you ready to enter a world of wonder? "huh" said James "that's strange" he clicked yes and the tv sucked him up, and he woke up in his favorite character, Jason's front yard. "Oh wow!" He said "this is just like season two episode seven, the illusion, where the whole team woke up back home but it was just an illusion cast by the spider queen, to show the world their true desires. Wait, who am I talking to? Eh, must be one of those random main character moments. Wait, am I? No this is probably just a dream, a cool dream, plus there he is." Just then Jason passed by James, slapped him on the head, said "dummy" and went inside, Jason looked just like James but he had a leather jacket and black hair, also he was 18 "ow" said James "wait, the Jason just hit me! So cool!" Then Jason's mom called James and said "hey James are you going to come inside or, are you going to stand outside all day?" Just then James realized he was taking the place of Jason's little brother; James. after dinner, James took the plates, did the dishes, and went to bed. "Well," said James "usually when I go to sleep in my dream, I wake up so I guess this amazing dream is over. Sigh." The next day, James woke up in the other James' room and was still confused "that's strange" he said in a sleepy voice, "I should have woken up. Well, I will wake up eventually so for now I'll just play along." James ate breakfast, which was pancakes drenched in syrup and covered in butter, with a side of orange juice. He went to school, but didn't remember any of it because of time skip, and when he went home, he stayed outside, it was quiet too quiet. "hmm" said James it seems quiet," then Jason came home and said "too quiet" "it seems like they're planning a-" said James "last time this happened they had a-" said Jason then they went inside and both at the same time said "a surprise party!" Then everyone jumped out and shouted, "Suprise!" "Congratulations boys" said their mom "what for?" Asked James "oh no James you dummy" said Jason "well my two special boys" said their mom "as Jason knew he was chosen to become a member of the newest prototype ship, the black fox, created by your uncle," "great" said Jason "uncle jack." "hey" said their mom "uncle jack worked hard for you to go into space." "No, he doesn't" said Jason "anyway" said their mom, "James you have also been chosen to be one of the crew members. So, you two will be able to spend the whole day with me celebrating! Won't that be nice?" "I can't," said Jason "I have a date with my girlfriend soon." "can't it wait?" Said his mom "you two only have a day till the tryouts, and then you have to spend the whole day packing to leave." "Well," said Jason "first, no it cannot wait, she is going on a space mission too for about five months so we have to go on a date now in case she doesn't come back, and second, we could just pack today, and be free to do whatever you want us to do on Sunday." "sigh" said his mom "ok, but only because I like Kyla." "Mom." said Jason "Jason." Said Kyla who had just arrived "it's time" Kyla was blond, with cerulean eyes, she was wearing a pink long-sleeved dress with cerulean tights. "Time for what?" Asked James who had been sitting around awkwardly "oh" said Kyla "Jason, is this your little brother, James?" "yes" said Jason "oh Jason" said Kyla "I don't get why you don't like your little brother that much; you guys are so alike!" "No," said Jason "we're not" "yes you are" said Kyla "and you look almost exactly the same." "ok" said Jason's mom "why don't you two kids go on your date and James could help me with the dishes." "ok" said Jason "let's go Kyla" "bye James" said Kyla, "bye Mrs. Krono." "Bye Kyla, bye Jason" said James, and Jason's mom "alright" said Mrs. Krono after Kyla and Jason left "James, you go to your room to pack, I think I can handle the rest of the dishes myself." "Ok mom" said James already used to calling Mrs. Krono mom because James doesn't have a mom anymore. He went to his room where he felt like he was forgetting something, "oh well" he said "it's probably nothing" James went to his room, and had a strange dream. "Hello?" He said "is anyone there?" Then he heard someone speaking muffled what he heard was, "coming, soon, near, you," "is this" said James "a theatre ad?" Then he heard "we found it, the ship, we're approaching, small planet," "oh no!" Said James "I have to warn someone! Wait, I am getting way too invested in this dream," then a voice said "wait he still thinks it's a dream? Ha! Oh, that's rich, you there go get him before he wakes up." Then he woke up, "weird" he said while getting out of bed, then he started to forget about the most recent episodes of a journey through space, like episodes 1-9 of season 6. "it's fine at least I can remember the episodes that are closest to now. Unless the further I get into the tv show the more my memories of the outside world disappear and I should find a way to get out as soon as-" "James!" Said Mrs. Krono "breakfast, we're having muffins!" "ooh" said James "muffins, the delicious chocolate chips, wait what was I talking about? Eh it couldn't have been as important as muffins." What he didn't know was he had almost realized the secrets of the universe and got distracted by muffins, but they are delicious, chocolate chips, whipped cream, chocolate, marshmallows, mmm, wait what was I talking about? Oh, now I get it. "James" said Mrs. Krono "you and Jason have to go straight to the space building, what was it called again? "oh" said Jason "it's called the-" then James came downstairs and said "mom I'm done packing and ready to go" "hold on" said Mrs. Krono "you have to go to school first. you have five days in space with no school; you have to go today before the exam." "ok" said James "Jason are you done packing yet?" "We still have to see if you get in before you pack" said Jason, "don't you mean we?" asked James "sure" said Jason then James went to school, met the real James' three friends, and went to the, space center, to audition to be part of the test crew for the black fox. Meanwhile Jason was at school with his three friends, Kent, Eliza, and Ethan. Kent was wearing a white lab coat and goggles, he had messy brown hair, and teal eyes, Eliza had an engineer outfit, she had caramel hair, and aqua eyes, Ethan had a blue shirt, blue jeans, auburn hair, and yellow eyes. "So, Jason" said Kent "when you were on your date with Kyla, did you finally kiss her?" "yes" said Eliza, "the people demand to know!" "And by people" said Ethan "we mean us your friends that you can tell anything, like what happened on your date with Kyla." "Ethan," said Jason "stop asking dumb questions and let me ask a question, were you guys chosen to be the crew for the black fox?" "Yes, we were" said Kent "yesterday I think" said Eliza "I heard the black fox has a buffet, and a personal chef!" Said Ethan then they all laughed, Jason laughed a little. after school, they all went to the space center, "alright cadets," said the general "today we will give you simulations of different roles, whoever does the best on their role, will get that role. Now are you ready?" "Yes sir!" They all said they started their tests, and got their roles. "Alright cadets" said the general "you all passed, barely. So now I will tell you your roles. Eliza, you're the engineer, Kent, scientist Ethan, inspector, Jason you are the captain." "What about me?" Asked James, "oh right" said the general "you will be, the, maid, janitor, cook, nurse, and HR." And everyone started laughing. "wow" said James "that's a lot of jobs" "well" said the general "if you don't like it just leave!" "Never mind" said James "alright cadets" said the general "this is your commander, Kiro." "hello" said Kiro, he was wearing a black spaceship captain suit, and a black military cap over his black hair, and he had kind brown eyes. "Kiro" said the general "is here to make sure you kids come home safe, so we don't have to pay a million dollars to each of your parents." "What?" Everyone said "anyway" said Kiro "time to leave, everyone goes home and pack for five days in space," "hey" said Ethan "does the ship have a washer and dryer?" "Well," said Kiro after the general left, "we installed a washer, but not a dryer; yet." "ok" said Ethan so they all went home and packed their bags and waved goodbye "bye mom" said Jason and James "bye kids" said their mom "make sure to come back in less than six days" "I promise" said Jason, and came back to the space center "alright cadets" said Kiro "time to go to space" they all went into the black fox and took off. "All right kids" said Kiro "since we're going to be here a while it's time for a tour." And they started walking all around the ship. "Over here" said Kiro "is the living room, this is the dining room, kitchen, laundry room, airlock, training room, lower engine, upper engine, and finally the cockpit." "woah" everyone gasped "this is so cool," said James "now" said Kiro "it's time for takeoff, everyone to your seats." Everyone went into their specifically marked seats, and they took off "wow" said James, "I'm in space! Wait, what is that?!" "Oh no!" Said everyone panicking, "this is bad" said Kiro "I've lost control of the ship, we're heading straight for that black hole!" Then everyone screamed and said things like "ahh!" "we're going to die!" "My corndog!" And "I dropped my hat don't step on it!" Then everything was still, they could hear the wind blowing through the trees, the animals stepping on leaves, and they were just confused "wait" said Jason, "where are we?" "It looks like, earth" said Kiro "but," then he looked at a spider bird get eaten by a pixie, "twisted" "wait" said James quietly, "I remember now." Then out loud, "hey everyone!" "Yeah James?" They said "I think I see a house over there, let's go check it out." "Sounds good" said Kiro "maybe they could tell us where we are."
