What isn't seen in Motherhood |
There are things mothers do not say. There are moments mothers feel like they can't explain how they feel. As joyful as motherhood can be, it is also very painful and worrisome. Is it days when the child falls ill or when he is countering your words? The best mothers get the best husbands as fathers and obedient children and also people around them get to help them out. Mothers hide a lot of things in their tears and their thoughts. Most push through with hope and most have reason to keep holding on but some give up because they have no one or the strength to keep pushing on. The ones that end up with post par-tum depression won't tell you how they felt because it's not something that can be explained. Having someone or people who love you around you when you give birth is the greatest blessing. The worst of it is not having a source of income when you give birth or when training a child, it makes you lose yourself. Motherhood is not as fun as people view it but it can be very rewarding. Being a mother is not a piece of cake, it is a roller-coaster of being humiliated, judged and even criticized which hurts especially when you're doing all you can but it doesn't feel like you're doing enough. Makes me look back to the movie "bad moms" Motherhood isn't as easy as everybody see it especially for people who have never experienced it, people who didn't have neighbors or family that gave birth around them. This is to all the mothers out there, you are doing your best, you are doing great, and make sure you enjoy every moment just as much as you're sacrificing. You are awesome. |
