They say 666 is the devil’s number,
The mark,
The warning sign.
The thing you’re supposed to run from.

You see it on receipts,
license plates,
in music,
in movies,
and people get weird, about it,
Some laugh.
Some get real quiet,

They say the Illuminati runs things.
The rich ones.
The powerful.
The ones who smile for cameras
but pull strings behind closed doors.


Hand signs.
Triangles with eyes.
Whispers in rap lyrics,


Maybe it’s all made up.
Maybe it’s just people
trying to explain
why the world feels unfair.

Why some people get everything,
without even trying,
and,
others grind every day
just to see food chop,
Difference between Nepo and Lapo kids,

Maybe 666 isn’t evil.
Maybe it’s just a number
that got twisted into something bigger than self,


And the Illuminati?
Maybe it’s real.
Or maybe it’s just a name,
