A rhyming poem with fictional characters and actions,

JUST THE FACTS ARE NONSENSE

I told them I saw a Teddy Bear
walking down the middle of the street.
They told me,” I wasn’t very discreet.”

I told them I saw a unicorn,
walking down the road.
They said," It might have been a toad".

I told them I saw a dolly,
climbing a tree in the woods.
They said, “your eyes must have been
covered by your sweater hood.”

I told them I saw a burglar
in the apple tree.
They asked me, “Are you
sure, you can still, see?”

I told them I saw a monster in the shed.
They asked me, “is the shed red.”

The teddy bear, unicorn, dolly, burglar, and monster,
walked up and offered to shake their hand,
The six of us are going to start a band.
