A poem about why I write, in "Linking" poetry form (described below poem)

Why do I write? I say "why not"?
Toss me a topic. Give me a goal.
Let me loose and stand aside.
Every challenge feeds my soul.

Life's too short to waste my time
enduring hurdles, dodging heat.
Throw me a quandary, tease my mind.
Deliver me a quest to meet.

Taking chances pumps my heart;
thrashes boredom, motivates;
spurs me on to meet each challenge.
Every one, whate'er the fates.

Send me any quirky topic.
Contest, memoir, TV show.
Write a goal to boost my talent.
Tempt me to show what I know.

Linking poetry form:
> Last letter of each line must be 1st letter of next line.
> Last letter of each stanza must be 1st letter of next stanza.
