It's Now or Never
The prompt is to use these lyrics in the story or poem in less than 300 words

The Plunge

Danny took a sip of his coffee, "Are you going to participate in the Polar Plunge this year?"
"Of course," Dafny said, looking at him like he had two heads with a butt hole between. "The real question is are you going to do it."
"I'm trying to make up my mind. I don't want a repeat of last year," he said, shaking his head.
"We all could only hope there would be," she said, laughing.
Danny stood and walked to the window. The Ohio River flowed by the house about sixty feet from where he stood. Ice along the riverbank let him know the river was cold. He knew that going in this year meant he had to make sure he was quiet. He couldn't afford another high pitched scream like last year.
"So, Danny, are you going in this year or not? It's now or never."
"Only if you're wearing that Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini."d
"You know that one turned brown after last year's plunge."
          "I'm Sorry."
"We'd better hurry or we'll miss it."
