The show

I booked a seat

To watch the show

The show was cancelled

But I didn't know

The stage was empty

All actors gone

Except for me

There was no one

Lights were put off

On every wall

And all the audience

I was them, all

Years kept turning

My hair white

Where only fools think

That it's all right

The show was not

Where I have looked

Yet still I'm keeping

The seat I've booked

And in my mirror,

Now I can see

Someone laughs and

Points at me
