Water Is Life Cloudless white sky Dry heat No wind; not even a breeze from the whisper of bird wings flying onto branches of one lone tree searching for shade relief My ghostly pale heart stutters on dry words; the sound is brittle to my ears begging for peace in this nightmare, holding on to the hem of protectors of truth, and stomp with protesters against conspiracies, all the while the insanity of war on humankind is hell, led by ignorance and avarice Democracy died in the dust Humanity struggled to find kindred spirits Evil invaded, but even they couldn't survive on a destroyed planet with tidal waves of sand dunes and tumbleweeds Scorched by invasions born from their white-paranoia, believing only the purity of it's own race should survive Greed for power and mineral riches buried on anybody's land Disrespect for our earthly home and all wildlife inhabitants Ancients, prophets, and Indigenous cultures connected to star-beings have taught us that Water is Life Now where is there found a clear stream, a babbling brook, rapid river, a shiny lake, a vast ocean reaching to touch borders of the now barren lands; pleading for green pastures that provide nourishment and mountains of forests giving oxygen to breathe One bird, one tree, only one of me in this dream poem search for like-minded Empaths who stand together, who inhabit one planet that is promised to be reborn to a higher dimension; in righteousness, meant to flourish with love, gratitude, and kindness; absent of dark karma and scarring wars Populated with all those who will experience the New Earth; sacred, beautiful and bountiful Prayers of thanksgiving, found gathering in circles around the globe, singing and dancing for the gift of rain that fill our waterways and grow vegetation to sustain all inhabitants on our new home Clean air is precious, and Water is Life line count 43 |
