Yang's Diary Entries

Yang writes in her diary how Ruby is acting strange.

Janwary 11
         It's been a few days since the start of our second semester, and something's feeling off with Ruby. Every since Weiss took us shopping, she's been excited to head back to Vale whenever she gets the chance. Weiss scolds her for being a child, but something's wrong with her. I've never seen her this impatient before.

Janwary 18
         I've been keeping an eye on her this past week, and nothing's changed. When I followed her to Vale yesterday, she seemingly disappeared. I asked her about it when we got back and she snapped at me, told me she knew I was following and to mind my own business. I need to find out what's going on with her.

Janwary 29
         It's been a while since I wrote anything, but think I've found where she's been sneaking off to. I noticed she was always taking the same route, so one day, I went to Vale before her. I don't know how she noticed me again, but I was able to follow her a bit further. I kept this up until, yesterday, I saw her enter a warehouse. I fought my desire to go in and waited. After almost an hour, she came out looking weirdly happy. Maybe there was a weapon conversation in there? I don't know. Something about this feels off.

Febwary 5
         Ruby seems to be going back to her old self, but I have a feeling it's an act. She's heading to Vale with Weiss tomorrow, and I bet she's going to head back to that warehouse.

Febwary 7
         I had to forgo writing yesterday because of how furious I was. Not only did Weiss go in with Ruby, but this time a man came out with them. I didn't get a good look at him, but he seemed awfully chummy with my little sister. Next time Ruby heads to Vale, I'm going to knock his block off!

Febwary 14
         She's headed there again today. I loaded my Ember Celica for when we leave. Whoever this guy is, I'm going to teach him not to touch her again.

Febwary 15
         I went there as planned, but when I went in, all I saw were his beautiful eyes. All I recall is my anger leaving me, then I woke up. The others aren't awake yet, but I'd really like to know what happened, and how to feel that way again.
         So I asked Ruby when we were alone about it, and she told me that it's normal not to remember the first time. She didn't, and neither did Weiss. I feel like a bit of an idiot now, I was so focused on my sister that I never noticed Weiss was taking frequent trips to Vale as well. But now that I know why they're going, I can't wait to head back there either. Those beautiful eyes, I'd love to see them again.

Febwary 21
         I got to see those wonderful eyes again yesterday, and I still don't really remember coming back. But I do remember feeling more. I felt so happy, so joyful. Ruby and Weiss tell me that it'll take some time before I stop forgetting, but I don't really care. I just want to feel like that again.

Febwary 27
         We're headed back again today, but first we need to go shopping. I don't know why, but it feels like I should have something else to wear. Blake is starting to act weird. Maybe she's noticing like I did. It doesn't matter, we'll take her with us and she can experience the joy, too.

Febwary 28
         This'll be my last entry. Yesterday, I felt even more than just joy, I felt bare hands against my skin. And it felt SO good. I remember saying something about my diary, and those wonderful eyes said I didn't need one. So today, I'm going to head back to the warehouse. I don't know if they'll be there, but I'm leaving my diary for when they return. If you're reading this, thank you for bringing such joy into my life, Master.
