He's How Old?

A Drabble (exactly 100 words) for 9/2/25, about an upcoming birthday.

Mom said Gramps will be ninety-seven soon, and we're giving him a birthday party.

He already looks a hundred and twenty. We have photos of him when he was younger, and he looked a lot like Dad does now. Maybe that means Dad is going to look really old when he's ninety-seven.

Great. I look a lot like Dad did when he was my age. When I'm ninety-seven, I might look a hundred and twenty. But I look a little like Mom, too. Maybe I'll look like a mix of both of them. And maybe that won't be so bad.
