I can feel your presence;
But looking over, you are
No longer there.

I can hear your thoughts;
But when I look over,
You are No Longer there.

I try to reach over
to touch you but you are
no longer there.

I can feel you in my heart.
Maybe that’s enough but I look
over and you are no longer there.

I start talking to you as if
you are but when I look over;
You are no longer there and I feel empty.

I long for all the things
That we did as a couple. Yet,
You are no longer there.

You may be no longer here
But you will live through me.
You will always be here.
