It's What They Do

A Drabble (exactly 100 words) that contains the word "happiness," written for 9/4/25.

Charles Schulz said “happiness is a warm puppy." I'll bet a puppy never peed on his shoe. Now I love puppies. But when a puppy (or any other animal) pees on your shoe, you're not going to be happy, regardless of the mood of the perpetrator (or should I say "pee petrator").

I had a puppy who never peed on my shoe. But he peed on the bed, on the rug, and on the living room sofa. And yes, I got angry. But I kept it to myself. If you could see his face, I'll bet you'd do the same.
