Invincible

Novel writing goes a long way in November.

October is prepping
Bunch of ideas
But only one stands out
To begin my journey

Computer in hand
I jot down notes
Put together an outline
And it's all about writing from there

November begins
Time to hit the keyboard
How long this idea will go
I do not know

With focus and determination
I look at the outline
Then I open a document
To a blank page

I start with one word
Sweat drips down my face
Then I continue
Unstoppable

I write every day
Word per word
Sentence per sentence
I continue to write

The idea moves forward
The outline as a guideline
Fillers goes in unknowingly
Each scene given importance

Halfway mark
Am at about 30k
I continue with force
To keep on going

The idea stutters
I don't care
I press forward
With emails and forum posts

I made it to finish
But still not done
60k wasn't enough
So I continue the novel

Little by little
I pressed forward
Word wars and typing games
My novel advances

End of the month
I reached 110k
What an achievement I made
And finished the novel in December
