This is my first post. These are just a few ideas, maybe together a novella.

Scenes 2025

Scene Ideas:

1. A colonist on a generation ship helps a newly awakened colonist acclimate and fit in.

2. A lone marooned astronaut contemplates an alien sky as night falls on him.

3. A brother and sister are all that remain of a dying civilization. Their promises to each other reflect the hopes and aspirations of their race.

4. The pilot of a starship guides a ship through a dangerous route and inflects on his journey.

5. An A.I. left alone for generations writes the genome of its ideal life form. As the lifeform awakens from being born, the A.I.'s reaction becomes hesitant and faces questions of apotheosis and hubris.

6. A botanist curating the foliage on a newly discovered and colonized world makes the decisions about terraforming. Nearly catalogued, one species of plant seems to express sentient, intelligent sentiment that brings comedy and affection to science.7

7. An artisan of genes, personalities and bodies come to an early retirement when a computer technology steps in the change the artist's viewpoint.
