A (what else?) Drabble about the joy(?) of writing.

I lie awake while others sleep. Tossing, turning. Crawling out of bed and pacing about the room. But I still can't get it out of my mind. How am I going to write a story based on that prompt?

I like to think I'm reasonably creative. Why is this so hard?

Write a story or memoir or vignette. That's three options. Which one do I pick? Couldn't that Drabble guy have made it easier? Oh, well, at least it's only a hundred words. So even if I do a lousy job, I won't have wasted too much time on it.
