A poem for the cold lonely days

I hate gravity
The way it steals my tears
Pulling them away from my eyes
Towards my pillowcase
Reminding me of how weak I am

I hate gravity
It reminds me of how hopeless I am
How I have everything but nothing at all
How I fake every smile
And how I hide my sadness

I hate gravity
It drains the life out of my body
It leaves me weak and helpless
Body aching
Soul bleeding

I hate gravity
It makes me feel like a sinking ship
Like I am losing light
Slowly fading out

I hate gravity
Because it reminds me of who I am
