A poem of absence and longing. |
The silence lingers where your voice once stayed, A warmth remembered, though the light has frayed. I reach through shadows, chasing what won’t last, A fragile tether binding present to past. The sky leans heavy, yet I bear its fate, Hope flickers faintly at a guarded gate. Whether absence burns or devotion remains, The heart still beats, though marked by gentle chains.
