The treasure from the pirate ship at the founders day celebration is stolen. |
Founders Day Fiasco Bingo squawks: “Where's the treasure, where's the treasure?” “Hey Captain O'Leary, we heard that Brimley Stone has been lurking around in a suspicious manner, you know he knows this ship better than anybody. Officer Sally reported seeing him at the crew entrance only minutes ago. Do you think I should tell Sally to apprehend him for questioning?” Officer Harry urged. “Cheese and rice! Harry, by all means go help her question him, find out where that darn treasure is.” “Hey O Leary, who's in that ski-boat bolting away from the starboard side of the ship?” “Rikki, call Fife and tell him to alert Bards Lake Patrol to stop that ski-boat that just left the pirate ship.” Bard's Lake erupts into chaos with sirens and alarms screeching as two patrol boats roar past, their engines bellowing with a deep throated-growl that cuts across the water like rolling thunder. Taunting in its boldness, the fugitive ski boat was sleek and painted in garish red, its outboard motor screamed in protest as it was pushed to its limits skimming across the waves appearing to momentarily skip through the air. Founders day spectators all stampede across the pirate ship piling up on the lake side, trying to sneak a peak at the ongoing chase. Two patrol boats in high pursuit of the fugitive ski boat. Meanwhile at the entrance no movement except one lone delivery truck casually driving away. The Fugitive ski boat streaking ahead, its hull slapping violently against the lakes surface, each impact echoing with a deep crack that ricocheted off the cliffs and tree-lines. That much commotion caused a drastic weight shift for the old pirate ship, it began rolling and swaying from everyone rushing to the same side of the ship. Bingo screeches out: “ship’s sinking, ship’s sinking.” The sound rose to a fever pitch as the chase funneled toward a narrow stretch of water hemmed in by cliffs. Engines screamed, sirens wailed, and the entire lake seemed to vibrate with the fury of it. A few minutes later. “Well Captain O Leary, we have apprehended the pilot of the speed boat, it’s Brimley Stone. He claims that two of our officers paid him to perform a lake chase as part of the founders day show. No treasure located.” “Cheese and rice! Which officers paid, where is the durn treasure?” “Officers Harry and Sally are unaccounted for, neither one of them have been seen since the start of the lake chase. We did hear a rumor that they were looking for a way to run off to Montenegro. ” Bingo screeches: “pirate's treasure, pirate's treasure!” 25 sentences |
