a poem about my childhood.

CHILDHOOD
Sometimes i want to look back at times where i found myself comfortable, times where i barely had problems to be worried about,
I seek and hunt in my brain for moments that will bring at least one drop of serotonin to my sad self; friends, family, past favorite people, anything.
But I always come back empty handed.
My family made me feel the need to run away from them,
My favorite people either turned out to be problematic or simply gave up,
My best friend died.
Everytime i try to feel the tiniest bit of happiness from my childhood, it ends up in tears.
Bitter, angry tears.
