Epitaph poems for the 13 Poetic Days of Halloween Contest 2025

Ernest P. Worrell

Here lies Ernest P. Worrell, an interesting fellow
He did not seem very mellow
When a Troll did loudly bellow
And so Ernest turned him into jell-o.

Old Lady Hackmore

Old Lady Hackmore is resting in peace
It is so sad she did decease
And she is now underground dressed in fleece
The cares of life she did release.
