A poem about trying new things for yourself

Cilantro, mayonnaise, and raw tomatoes
All my life I’ve been told of their grossness
But sometimes, something tells me
“How do you know you don’t like it if you don’t try it?”
There was a time I’d only eat anything beige.
Don’t ask me why, cause I don’t know.
Now I eat all colors of the rainbow.
There was a character on a TV show, that hit too close to home.
But now that I see the difference, I can’t stop laughing.
There is always a movie, which bombs in reviews.
When I watch it myself, I ask, “Is the reviewer an idiot?
So I encourage everyone
To always try before you judge
Because if you don’t
You may be missing out
