poem of spiritual enlightenment after a life of torment

"Nobody Mess With Me"

She wasn't expecting me,
until she was; then she became a we.
Mental games began to form,
even before I was born.

I waited on the other side of dark-light
knowing ghosts of their day-night.
Once here, I've been turned up-down-side,
tossed out-side-in, trashing bones and the mind.

Scorching voices scratched the brain.
Insulting actions seared edges of the sane.
No tears allowed on my face,
for fear of her, might leave a trace.

Rising from depths of brutality,
stepping away from black mentality,
from under murky seas, I exclaim,
and daring the volcano rims, I refrain:

Nobody mess with me!

Throwing me away was her crime.
Take care now; shall she taste rusty time.
Asylums claim walls of dank and dark dust,
within empty cells for me, she once ordered a must.

Nobody mess with me!

Gluttony of stabbing words begat my confusion.
Snarling teeth ignited her own combustion.
To escape, I swam the swampy dark-light,
I tackled the accosting day-night.

Nobody mess with me!

While sweeping corner cobwebs in blue shadows,
and un-nailing stuck doors and windows,
I'm awakened into light from where my old soul came,
a reminder of star-seed colonies belong to my name.

Under rising stars and climbing moons,
clarity and joy was found in soothing night-tunes.
My soul finds well deserved contentment.
Peace comes with enlightenment.

Nobody is messing with me!
