I Tried To Write A Poem

The Simple Process to write a poem

I tried to write this poem
and changed it way too much,
then counted all the syllables
and learned the rhythm sucks.

I used my thesaurus
upgraded all the words,
poetic justice don’t apply
this smells like walrus turds.

I flipped around the lines
dissected every meaning,
then took out this and that,
with mental veto screening.

This is the last stanza.
Won’t let my readers down.
So I’ll end this little ditty
Fade out til there’s no soun...
