A witch in the dark forest holds a little girl captive |
| Where lies take root, a toxic culture grows, A forest dark with knots of whispered wrongs. A child may wander where false light glows And lose the path amid bewitching songs. Candy creepers wind the girl in sugared cheer; The witch within desires not blood, but sign That she is not alone in endless night, And binds the child with spells of sugar twine. Her father calls through branches choked with doubt; His mind conjures flames and cauldrons grim with fear. Yet in his heart a gentler truth speaks out: Love guards the child and stills his rising tear. Through a mist of lies, love’s beacon still will shine, And lead her home when truth and time align. |
