Dream of A Weird Sc-fi

In this dream, we were at a university area where my dad was teaching, and I was trying to find him to talk. Just walking around this area visually was entertaining the campus was huge and had some interesting architecture. I remember entering the food court and getting something to eat, A few students I asked where my dad was knowing him and would have something interesting to say, at one point I was talking to other Teachers when we notice this tall bald guy watching me, he was creepy to say the least, I then found my dad loading boxes in his classroom, my dad teaches ART, but he was I guess in the dream retiring, and we talked.(Probably real life family issues here playing out in dream) I remember helping him drive the truck thru traffic,( I hate driving dreams) everything looks as if it's about to fall backwards going up hill, every time.)

This next part I was driving once again along the campus when, we ran into some old friends in the dream and we got out and we were talking when all of a sudden, we were all on what I can only describe as a space port, space station I had sabotaged some control panels and we were all trying to escape this place, there was a girl shouting at me to hurry, I ran around the corner we linked up and were running down this corridor when a door opened, and we both were surprised there was this odd, really really odd looking alien, best described like mind flayer from D&D, he had a little girl beside him, and she seemed even more odd, like spooky odd. We both started to back up looking for a way to escape, when the little girl started to talk to me telepathically, what she said disturbed me and I realized she was warping the scene around me like time distortions and ripples I could see, the girl beside me kept trying to get my attention but I was zoning out as everything was just rippling like as if you were on psychedelics. the girls voice dragged me back, and I remember it was very comical in my dream when I pushed the little girl over and we both ran.

The next part, I was at a fleet market looking at different stuff people were selling, when all of a sudden, I focused on a small penguin statue while I was focused on it, out of the corner of my eye I noticed a shifting shadow figure flirting between people towards me. At first, I was like, not uh, So I tried to pretend I hadn't seen it, focused on this Penguin in front of me, I calmed my breathing, expanding my awareness time seemed to slip, all of a sudden, I turned and stepped, and the shadow was in front of me then it was behind me. I felt a hand grab my arm above the elbow, which woke me up.
