Is there a difference between work and play?

"Can I ask you a question, Marv?" Jim looked over at his coworker and began to laugh. Marv was not there; he was deep in whatever he was listening to in his headphones. Eyes tightly closed, he was playing the air drums, biting his lips and bobbing his head like he was at a rage all by himself.

Jim looked down at his screen to check the time: four o'clock sharp. He pressed Windows-L to lock his computer for the night and nudged his friend. Marvin opened his eyes and looked around like someone had suddenly turn the lights up in his personal rave.

"What, man? I was just getting the groove, J!"

"For one thing, it's time to go home. For another, you can't just be jammin' out like that. Mr. Bannerman would not be too pleased to see your dance moves. Be chill, bro!"

Marvin laughed. "You worry too much, Jimmy. Let's get outta here, I still gotta get across town, get dressed, and pick up Terry for tonight."

The two friends walked to the elevator, joking and talking about how they were going to cut loose to start their weekend.

"Still, Bannerman got all over Sheila just last week for always being on the phone. He's a straight shooter, Marv," he said in the parking lot of the club

Marvin smiled and looked at his friend out of the corner of his eye. "It's under control, buddy. I ain't gonna get in any trouble.

The two men entered the front doors of OutRAVEous. Marvin immediately started looking around, caught someone's eye, and led Jim and Terry over.

"Mr. Bannerman?!" Jim explained, flabbergasted to find his straight-laced boss here.

Bannerman smiled at him and shouted over the crowd: "Good vibes, Jimmy— be chill, bro!"
