Fled this age

Glory No More

By ~ Reagana

The dragon breathed both fire and death

Long before magic fled this age

No more smoke and flames with each breath

The Storyteller turned the page

Now in his dank, dark cave lies he

Each rise of sun and fall of night

Brings him closer to his reprieve

At last he can lay down his fight

Against puny man and his sword

So brave yet insignificant

Before the dragon’s mighty lord

Quickly knight became hesitant

And dragon slew them to the last

Now here he lies in his decay

His dreams of glory all but past

With his last breath, he’s gone away
