Preconceived Within Our Skin

Distasteful?

Distasteful can mean many a thing;
One hardly knows where to begin.
Undoubtedly, it's self-aware to bring
the preconceived within our skin.
If, in fact, it pulls our strings.
Does that sound like a minute violin?
One soul's taste oft takes wing,
where others see a mortal sin.
