In Every Way Possible |
Perfectly Perfect by: Reagana I am perfect in my imperfection, always falling short, Frizzy hair, crooked teeth, of these you would make sport. Too short, I am, I cannot see, the counter blocks my view, Mousy features, buggy eyes, oh, yes, this is most true. I am perfectly imperfect, see, I will not tell a lie, Yet, adding to my list will only bring a sigh. I fear that, though I tried, I have not convinced you yet, Give to me five minutes, and this will change, I bet. My husband keeps his distance, for he says my scent is smelly, And though I try, I cannot hide the dirt rolls on my belly. My nose drips goo onto my face, between my teeth where there's a space. My fungus and my toe jam, I do find unique, But others turn aside, saying that I stink. My laugh amuses all, I sound just like a goat, As my Adam's apple bobs, up and down my throat. My nails are long and curling, My list just keeps unfurling. You look at me, oh so sadly, Wanting my perfections, badly. Hiccupping loudly, I cough and hack, Please give me a moment, before you attack. I will gladly share these things with you, For I see you wish perfection, too. Lines: 22 |
