Up my pants

Ants Go Marching

By ~ Reagana

Sitting in the grass one day

Early June or maybe May

Learned a thing or two bout ants

As they crawled right up my pants

Caught my breath

Squished one to death

Hoping that the rest would flee

Before I had to climb a tree

Found no luck there

Was worse, I swear

Each bite and chomp

Caused me to stomp

Fell right from the tree

The ants marched…one, two, three

All over my chocolate cake

No claim left for me to stake

My picnic taken by the ants

Left with some still in my pants
