Eight line poem

WRITE A POEM ABOUT SOMETHING YOU SAW ON YOUR CEILING.

As I lay upon my bed,
I looked up to the ceiling.
And what I saw there sent my senses reeling.
A spider! but was it dead?
I watched it very carefully
For any kind of action.
Would it fall? Or jump? I wondered fearfully,
It did! I fled, that was my reaction.
