The comfort of the monstrosities in your head
Are the only way I can get by.
When the world becomes too real
Your fantasy releases me.
The murder, death, and games
The twists and turns of war
Numb my mind for a moment.

Then, without my knowledge,
You have changed the very nature
Of what God made me to be.
