When Love Fades

When love is new, it brings such joy.
You play so coy
and have such trust,
amidst the lust.

As time goes on, those feelings fade.
The love you made.
Excitement wanes,
increase in pain.

You want to bring it back again.
Remember when.
You smile, the thought,
memory brought.
