Digimon: True Justice for All

Those who are told to be weak can actually be strong.

Chapter 1: The New Beginning (The Heart of Justice Beats Once More!!!)

Even though it was September, the weather was still quite warm as the thirteen entered the classroom and sat down. The teacher soon entered, marked them in, reminded them of the rules of where they were allowed to go; aka nowhere near the main building and any of the great and good students, gave them their work to do and left.

After completing the very easy questions in under 30 minutes, Tobias as usual started to talk at his quietest volume yet, “Now what? What should we do? I mean what, should, we, do? Anyone, anyone?” Well maybe Tob, if you could shut up, we could think for once.” “WHAT DO YOU MEAN, FOR ONCE?!” Tobias shouted, to which Natalie spoke up, “Please stop, you’re scaring Patrick.” Several eyes looked at Patrick, who was now covering his ears and was making a keening esque noise, to which Aaron said, “Calm down Pat, please calm down.” He accidentally slapped his hand on his shoulder causing him to visibly recoil and to attempt successfully to escape out of the classroom and he dashed into the woods next to the classroom.

“So, a power cut across the world and now this.” Barry sighed, Steven stood up, “Come on everyone we’d better find him, he’s probably gotten lost in there.” “Why do we all have to this?” Tobias moaned, “2 reasons, one because we’re a group… -ish and secondly,” Keith muttered under his breath, “It’s mostly your fault.” Thankfully Tobias didn’t hear that part and after picking up their bags, mostly in case they had to eat after finding him, the group started searching.

As they entered as a group, the woods seemed slightly different and then they could hear noise that did not make sense at all, instead of cars being nearby, they could hear people talking and then they found Patrick next to a large, cavernous mountain. “Where the Hell are we?” Tobias spoke, Darren then attempted to shush him, when all the group’s eyes were attracted to a glowing cyan light entering a cave. All the group stared to walk to towards the cavern, enraptured by the light which was lighting the cave, after Aaron helped Ethan get up the steps in side the cave, they started to see more lights from the exit of the cave and Patrick who was further ahead, seemed to dash ahead an his footsteps seemed to then stop as he exited the cave, Natalie and Steven looked at each other concerned and ran into the light.

As everyone exited the cave, their jaws began to drop, they were inside what appeared to be an demolished temple, but that wasn’t the shocking part, the area to which their eyes were all transfixed was thirteen massive stone and yet at the same time crystal statues, all of them towering over them, even the smallest was at 7 feet tall and the largest one was as tall as the ceiling and just as wide, Patrick walked and soon afterwards so did the others amazed by what they were seeing, “That’s it, I’m making the reference, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore Toto.” The group merely nodded and then noticed that one of the statues wielding a shield and lance was lightly glowing. Patrick without any prompting at all, touched the statue which seemed to disintegrate before their eyes and yet it was also reconstituting into both an egg and a square looking crimson device which landed in his hands, immediately after the egg hatched revealing a red dinosaur like creature that looked around and stared at Patrick. The others seemed to be attracted the other statues and touched them as well to the same event happened and they all had different eggs which hatched as well, Natalie’s device was pink and her creature appeared to be a very small person to fencing or kendo gear, Aaron and Michael’s creatures were the same except Aaron’s seemed a little taller and it’s eyes were less playful in comparison to Michael’s, Michaels device was slightly egg shaped and was coloured gold whilst Aaron’s was blue, Keith’s creature was a small purple looking imp and his device was purple as well whilst Ian’s creature was a white looking dog with a flowing red cape and his device was white as well. Darren’s creature was a pure white ferret looking creature, with a golden ring near its head his device was a slightly lighter red in comparison to Patrick’s device, Steven had a far bulkier device looking exactly like Barry’s device, except with a grey colour choice in comparison to Barry’s brown colouring and his creatures were an orange looking T-Rex and a yellow looking dog wearing a pelt, whilst Barry’s creatures were the same bipedal dragons except one was more blue than green and vice-versa. Keith’s creature was a purple looking raptor creature who seemed to be quite aggressive whilst his device was jet black in colour. Fred’s creature was a candle with a blue flame atop it and his device appeared to be a gem like colour choice. Catherine’s creature was a small red cat creature with 9 feather like tails, her colour choice was a lighter brown colour and finally Tobias’s creature was a gear like creature with big round eyes and his device was a very light purple. Tobias summed it up perfectly, “What the hell are you?”

Chapter 2: The Friendship of Monsters and Humans (The Battles Commence! VS Evilmon!)

“We’d be asking youse the same things.” The imp creature said in response, as the group slowly began to react to what was going on, with Keith fiddling with the device which caused the raptor creature to enter the device when he pressed a button, he then pressed the button again causing the raptor creature to appear again to which the creature snapped at his heels. “Why is he talking like a New York gangster?” Barry asked, “Hey, dis is ‘ow I normally talk!” “Of course.” “Um, what are you?” “Here’s the weird thing,” The slightly smaller blue creature spoke “I think we know our names and what we are and what we can do, but anything else, not a clue.” “So, what are you called then?” Natalie asked, “I am Guilmon.” The red dinosaur creature replied, and the rest followed, “I am Kendomon. “Hi, I’m Veemon.” “The same.” “Impmon’s me name.” “I’m Ruffmon.” “I am Kudamon.” “Hello, I’m Agumon.” “My name is Gabumon.” “We’re Dracomon.” “Raptormon.” “I am Frostlemon.” “M-my name is E-Elecmon, p-p-pleased to m-meet you.” “My name of which you intend to know is Gearmon.”

“Well, at least we know your last name of Mon.” Barry sarcastically replied to which a few smiles and a little chuckle came from Fred, “Where are we?” Steven asked to which Gearmon replied “We are located in where North and East unite, but not where East and West unite in the correct circumference.” “What?!” Tobias shouted in confusion which echoed around the area causing Patrick to lightly keen and Guilmon to move in front of him in a protective manner, “Tobias, calm down.” Fred spoke loudly. The group then heard a light cackle coming from the entrance and they then saw a large mouth appear from the darkness, with two eyes glowing yellow at them, then two clawed hands appeared, and four wings attached to the same creature. “WHAT do WE have HERE then?” A screechy voice echoed around the temple; all the group were unnerved at the very least. “THIS will BE so ENJOYA-“ “PYRO SPHERE!” A large orb of red energy crashed into the creature, and they all looked at the source of the energy: Guilmon in a very aggressive stance was preparing to attack again and before anyone could react, Raptormon headbutted and started to bite the creature viciously and the group, except for Gearmon and Elecmon attacked the creature vigorously and with moves like the “Pyro Sphere”. “Night of Blizzard Blast!” “Twirling Tackle!” “Clawing Slash!” The monster crashed down the steps and with a double “Baby Breath!” from the Dracomon’s, the creature disappeared into what appeared to be tiny blue cubes.

“Wow, that was pretty impressive.” Catherine commentated, “Agreed.” Michael replied, “I think we need to possibly leave this place now, agreed?” Natalie asked “Agreed.” Most of the group replied and those who didn’t simply nodded. After leaving the temple, they exited the cave with Aaron and Kudamon helping Darren down the steps, they looked around the forest until they somehow were able to return to the home, afterwards they after asking Keith how to put their creatures into their devices because they knew that they would be easily noticed with the creatures around, they entered their classroom and began to discuss what had just happened. “Okay we just made some weird things happen.” “To say the least.” “I think we need to agree on something, that what has happened to us should only be discussed with the people and creatures-“ “With the last name of Mon.” “Yes, with the last name of Mon.” “What should we name these creatures anyway?” “U-u-u-u-m w-w-w-what about Digimon?” The group was in silence before an impressed murmur went around the group, “Huh, that actually makes sense.” “Aha! Here’s what we can do: At home we only have these ‘Digimon’ out of these ‘Digi-phonies’ when we are on our own, so that nobody tries to arrest us and when we are in school we do the work, that they want us to do and when it is completed, we go to that portal, because I have a sneaky suspicion that we were guided there for a purpose.” Steven explained and the group fully agreed.

Chapter 3: Monochrome Mayhem, Honeybee Havoc, and a Blazing Brawl! (Battles in the Digital World Commence! Growmon vs Monochromon! Honeybeemon vs Airdramon! Meramon vs Orgemon!)

When Patrick got home, he made a beeline for his bedroom, trying to block out all of the loud noises from his cousins and he released Guilmon, who spent some time looking around the new surroundings, meanwhile Keith sharing a bedroom at the care home meant that Raptormon spent the night firmly in the device, Steven had enough time to release Agumon and Gabumon from the device but he told them to stay in the bedroom which they obliged, as the others did or didn’t release their Digimon, they knew that they had a new goal to achieve.

When the group arrived at the portal after finishing their work, they arrived at a completely different location than yesterday which confused the group greatly, “Didn’t we arrive at a mountain yesterday?” “I think we did, hmm this portal thingy seems to like a… hub thing, basically the portal in the forest is going to stay there, whilst where we end up is probably going to change daily. Does what I’m saying make sense to you?” “Absolutely.” The group nodded, and Steven responded, “Well it seems that we have a group of things to discover.” Steven demonstrated by moving his hand around the area, pointing out that there was a lake, a group of trees and a small cave in the distance. “How about we split up into groups?” “Makes sense, P-Patrick where’s he- Oh great.” The group saw Patrick moving towards the trees clearly interested by something that he could see but the rest couldn’t, “I’ll follow him, make sure he doesn’t hurt himself.” “Thanks Keith, okay how about me with Michael and Aaron.” “I’ll stay with Ian.” Paul called out. “Makes sense, so how about, Darren you go with Natalie and Fred and Barry, you stay with Catherine and Tobias.” “How about we meet up here in an hour or so, we can easily see the portal and we can easily return here.” Natalie suggested and except for Keith who merely gave a thumbs up, everyone agreed to the suggestion and the group split up with Keith following Patrick into the trees, Steven’s group going towards the lake, Ian and Paul going near the cave, Darren, Natalie, and Fred going near a cliff so they could find out some more areas and Barry’s gang going near a large tree in the distance.

Patrick continued to go near what he knew that he could see, with Guilmon right behind and Keith following him at a slight distance to prevent Raptormon from attacking Guilmon until the came near a large rock formation which looked like an hour hand pointing up. “Okay, how we didn’t see this, I have no idea, decent eyesight Pat.” Keith complimented him, and Patrick grinned, Keith went near it and said “Well, this is odd since obviously this is not Earth, but the rock looks like a clock hand, weird isn’t it?” Pat nodded his head and then both him and Guilmon looked away from the rock to see a massive horn emerging from the trees behind them.

Meanwhile Steven’s group as they got closer to the lake with the Digimon happily dashing towards the lake and Aaron rushing after his Veemon they noticed that a few small insect like Digimon running away soon after drinking from the lake, “Maybe they’re scared of us?” “Maybe, but I’m not so sure.” Michael queried to Steven, as they arrived at the lake and as Michael’s Veemon and Steven’s Agumon and Gabumon began to drink from the lake, they suddenly became aware of a large shadow encompassing the lake.

Paul and Ian walked towards the cave, with Paul walking in front of him as a protective manner and Impmon light-heartedly testing his aim by throwing fireballs at random rocks near them. As they carefully entered the cave, they saw a large bone in the cave followed by a large green creature, the group agreed to leave the cave as carefully as they could, but then Ruffmon got dust on his nose and he let out an enormous sneeze, causing the green creature to wake up.

Natalie, as they reached the cliff took several notes of the surrounding area and began to start to create a map which could help them later.

Barry reached the tree first and his Digimon decided to have a nice nap.

The four of them took several slow steps backwards, as a large dinosaur like Digimon appeared with a massive, pointed horn on their head and grey frills around their head. Keith tapped Patrick’s shoulders and pointed the left and the right, to which Patrick nodded, but before they could interact Raptormon started to attack the Digimon which did no damage in the slightest, Raptormon was thrown into a tree and Keith rushed to grab him, leaving Patrick and Guilmon in the firing line of a massive horn.

The group dodged a massive bite from a large limbless lizard with slightly tattered wings, who then growled at them. Both Gabumon and Agumon attempted to attack it with “Pepper Breath!” and “Blue Breath!” but the Digimon was able to easily flap their wings to blow the attacks back at them, at the same time Michael was fiddling with his Device which showed multiple types of eggs on them.

They ran out of the cave with the large Digimon now wielding the bone viciously grinned at them “You will be so enjoyable to hurt.” “Infernal Funnel!” Impmon shouted, summoning a blue and red orb which hit the ogre Digimon to which he cackled at them “Oh boy.” Paul stood in front of Ian, who was slightly cowering, “Ian, run, we’ll hold him off!”

Patrick looked at the massive horn and waited until the Digimon charged into the rock formation to leap out of the way, the Digimon was trapped and Guilmon started to use Pyro Spheres on the skin annoying the Digimon until it escaped and looked exactly at him and then Guilmon grabbed onto the horn to which he refused to let go and then the device started to glow.

Guilmon Digivolve to……... Growlmon!!

Aaron shouted, “What are you doing Mikey?!” “When I got the Degivice thing, I could hear a voice saying ‘Master the powers, and a Miracle will be born.’ I think it means things like THIS!!” Michael shouted as he pressed on a yellow-coloured egg.

Veemon Armor-Digivolve to………. Honeybeemon!!

Impmon continued to attack the ogre Digimon with several Infernal Funnels which still did nothing to him. “I am not going to let you harm Ian!” The ogre laughed and raised his club in preparation to attack and the Device started to glow.

Impmon Digivolve to……… Blazemon!!

As the light faded away, now grabbing onto the horn wasn’t a small dinosaur, but instead was a massive red dragon with a mullet and clawed hands. “Dragon Slash!” The blades on his hands started to glow and he attacked the dinosaur frequently, he then struck with a “Pyro Blaster!” causing the Digimon to moan, he then grabbed the dinosaur’s tail and after spinning around, he threw him away into the distance.

Veemon was now covered in a bright yellow and marked armour, even though its size had not changed at all and he started to zip and buzz around the large lizard Digimon and when he got in its face, he hit them with a “Sweet Spray!” causing the Digimon to be dazed and for it to fly away.

Impmon had now become a tall and sleek, flaming humanoid figure to which, he started to light-heartedly bounce around “Come on, Come on, You want a piece of me?! Burning Blazing Fist!” His hand became even hotter, and he punched the ogre straight in the chest knocking him to the ground and as he got up, he finished him off with a “Blazing Fire-Blast” blasting him away.

Chapter 4: A Mystery Unfolds (Questions about Evolution! Gladimon and Sorcerimon vs Sealsdramon!)

The group returned to the portal to talk, and the rest of the groups were shocked at the different creatures that were in place of Guilmon and Impmon in particular, “Um, what the hell?” “Well, we were battling a dinosaur, and Raptormon was, well, a bit aggressive, Guilmon grabbed the horn, the thingy glowed, and I definitely heard the word Digivolution, and that’s what appeared, simple.” “Okay, You?” “Flying lizard attacked us, Mikey blasted Veemon with something from his Digivice I think he called it; he got this armour on him and he, sort of farted on it.” Barry, Keith, and Fred smirked at the word fart, whilst Natalie rolled her eyes as she asked, “As for you?” “The cave had an ogre in it, vowed to protect Ian, ‘Digivice’ glowed, Imp became flamey guy.” “Well, considering that the creatures have something digital about them it makes sense, Mikey didn’t you say something like ‘Master the Power’ or something?” “Yeah, actually I think my Veemon and Aaron’s Veemon are nowhere near the same thing, for example,” Michael pressed on his Digivices screen to which Veemon’s armour faded away, “If I do this,” Michael pressed on a red egg and the same energy blasted into Veemon.

Veemon Armor-Digivolve to…. Flamedramon!!

Veemon was now far taller and in red armour with spikes on his head and hands, “Well it appears that this Veemon is a Master of None more than anything else.” The group slightly titled their heads at Keith who explained, “Basically there’s no form where he has a perfect ability in anything, but he has a form for any situation we’re in, makes sense?” The group nodded. Fred then asked, “So Nat, you have anywhere else you’d want to visit?” “Well, there is a very impressive waterfall in distance that we can have a break at.” The group agreed to the idea and with Natalie leading them, the group arrived at the sparkling waterfall and the group began to eat their lunch, after they finished, they started to notice something approaching them. A group of Digimon lead by a titanic undead dinosaur with what appeared to be a missile on its back was approaching the waterfall, “We need to hide, now!” Everyone nodded and attempted to find a safe hiding spot, after the undead Digimon left, they breathed a sigh of relief until the heard a slight whirring noise and the discovered that the group of Digimon had stayed behind.

The five Digimon that had stayed were mechanical lizards all equipped with knives and with a scanning noise hitting all of them the group realised that they would have to battle and with Veemon have gone back to normal, the Digivolutions commenced.

The group battled fiercely but with the lizard Digimon working together in groups, it was a very tough feat but then a hidden Digimon having prepared to strike Patrick, “Patrick, look out!” Fred shouted and Natalie shoved him out of the way and the two of them looked at the Digimon with absolute rage and Natlie even though she had been told to her face many times, that her only facial expression was ‘I am utterly stupid,’ both were wanting the Digimon to go down and once again the Digivices glowed.

Kendomon Digivolve to… Gladiusmon!!

Frostlemon Digivolve to… Sorcerermon!!

Both the candle and the Kendo Warrior had now been replaced by a white clocked person with white pointy hat and wielding a snowflake, as well as a spherical armoured warrior with two swords. “Crystal Barrage!” Sorcerermon cried out, to which several shards of ice appeared and slammed into the lizard and with a quick “Wheel Rush!” the Digimon sphered away and then they focused on the rest of the group and Sorcerermon let out a large shout of “Meteor Squall!!” and multiple red and white orbs smashed around the arena, distracting the group of Digimon allowing an entourage of attacks, “Pyro Blaster!” “Thunder Blade!” “Magma Mega Rocks!” and all the group sphered away and after Growlmon, Raidramon, Blazemon, Gladiusmon and Sorcerermon changed back, the group knew that something more sinister was afoot.

Chapter 5:A Double Dragon Blast! (Teamwork is Great! Dracomon Evolve, Coredramon!)

After the Digimon went back to normal, the group were silent for a few seconds, then Tobias summed up the thoughts perfectly, “What the Hell was that Skeleton thing?!” “I have no idea, but I think the safest thing would be if we see that thing, would be to run away as fast as we can, otherwise we will be squished or blown up, maybe even both.” Barry commented then Keith interjected with “Yeah, well the best idea would be to be in small groups so that if something like that does try to squish us, it’ll be trickier.” “Please stop talking about things squishing us, it’s not comfortable.” Aaron chirped in. “Anyway, if we do go into groups who’d be with whom?” “I’m with Ian all the way.” Paul spoke up, “I’m finer by myself, I think Raptor’s going to be happy with that.” “I think that me being with Patrick, Darren and Mikey would be a good idea.” I have a sneaky suspicion,” Catherine called out “That Nat and Fred would be fine with each other.” Both immediately blushed and looked away at that comment. “First things first,” Steven spoke up “We need to head back to the portal first and from now on, whenever we enter the portal, we find an advantage point to look out and to explore this world.” Everyone agreed to the suggestion and headed straight back.

When Natalie got home, she made a quick beeline to her bedroom until she was confronted by her mother who reminded her that Sebastian’s parents were coming over to discuss the wedding plans and that she needed to stay out of the way so that “Our reputation can at least survive this situation we are in now thanks to you.” As Fred entered the house, he could hear a large amount of talking coming from one of the grand rooms, which indicated that he was having a dinner party for someone, whom he had no idea. As Catherine got home, she was warmly greeted by her mom and dad.

Once again, they completed the work, left the classroom, and entered the portal, and this time they appeared before an encompassing sea, “Hmm, okay this might be a little bit tricky.” “Let’s look behind the portal.” Barry called out and they did and behind them was a large forest and whilst they were planning to split up, Raptormon wandered off leaving Keith to grumble as he rushed after him, Paul and Ian agreed to stay behind near the portal to see if anything happened to the portal whilst they were away, Catherine, Barry and Aaron walked off towards what they could tell was a beautiful tree, Natalie and Fred walked across the beach connecting the land to the sea to see if there was any safe spaces for them to catalogue, and Steven’s group walked towards the centre of the forest to which they could see an interesting group of rocks, as the groups departed, Tobias, irritated that he was ignored, decided to join Natalie and Fred in their endeavour.

The sounds of what they thought might be birds echoed around them as they continued close to the tree, Aaron kept being distracted by the trees and Barry had to keep Aaron on the right path and Elecmon spent the entire time hiding behind Catherine’s leg and as they were about to reach the tree a slight rumbling thundered around them and then several tall bird like Digimon appeared, some of them armoured some of them ostrich like and two of them looked like giant predatory birds with horns of their heads, Barry slightly muscular and tanned stood in front of the two of them and whispered “I’m going to create a distraction, when I say so charge directly for the tree, got it?” The two nodded and he cracked his knuckles. “Okay you flock, time for you to flap away!”

Dracomon Double Digivolve to… Coredramon!!!

Both Dracomon’s had become two large muscular and winged dragons, one far bluer and greener “Double Flare Breath!!” A blue and green flame erupted from their mouths causing the Digimon to move out of the way and for their focus to be placed on the Coredramon’s “Now!” Barry shouted and both Aaron and Catherine ran as fast as they could with Elecmon hilariously reaching the tree first and before they had a chance to breathe, a tall raven humanoid appeared out of nowhere.

Chapter 6: A Kaleidoscope of a Kinship. (Beware the hug of Kinkakumon, Welcome the Friendship of Mermaimon and Introducing Karatenmon’s warning.)

Veemon was ahead of the group, clearly looking for something to eat whilst Darren and Steven spoke to each other “So, what do you think this place really is? I think it’s like a planet from the other side of the universe.” “Sort of makes sense, but I think it’s maybe like the internet come to life.” “If the internet had come to life, that would be, interesting to say the least.” “Agreed.” Darren nodded as they arrived at a large group of fruit bearing trees to which the Digimon happily grabbed different coloured apples from the trees and began to eat, Mikey himself tried one which he had a unique expression his face and after he swallowed it, he spoke up, “It’s quite spicy.” Patrick was unsure about trying it and then they heard some noises and then a shadow enveloped them, and Patrick was then picked up by a large golden armoured woman with very impressive looking… shoulders and behind her was a massive, silver-plated demon looking creature with what appeared to be a chamber in his belly.

Natalie, Fred, and Tobias trailing behind soon after walking around the beach, soon afterwards they heard a voice that sounded like moaning. After turning around a corner, they saw a massive whale beached and a female pirate wielding an anchor and a large group of crabs, shells and tadpoles attempting to encourage the whale to move back into the water. Fred thought about what to do and then he came up with a plan which he discussed with Natalie.

Ian and Fred mostly sat around talking to each other, humorously not noticing a gigantic land turtle walking right behind them in the sea.

Elecmon and Veemon took a step back and in Elecmon’s case hid behind Cathy’s leg, the Raven humanoid spoke in a calm, threatening voice, “So, it appears that the army has struck again, I am impressed that it took you this long and thankfully I will put an end to you.” The raven pulled out two swords and lifted them up, Aaron grabbed Cathy’s hand and pulled her away only for the raven to instantly teleport right in front of them and menacingly he pointed a sword directly at Aaron’s now sweating head.

The now panicking Patrick was being now pulled closer in in the golden armoured woman’s chest who then spoke… completely differently from how they thought she was going to speak, which caused all four the humans in the group to tilt their heads, “Oh my goodness, you, are, the cutest thing in all of cutedom, I am going to so enjoy hugging you and keeping you soooo close to me!” Patrick now partly fearing for his life, began to thrash around violently, his hair flopping around, until he accidently hit the woman in the jaw causing both to fall, and whilst Mikey and Steven helped Patrick to get to his feet, the silver-plated Digimon snarled out “YOU DARE HURT HER!!!” “ROAARRR!!!!!!” The Digimon attacked with a cry of “SILVER SLAM!” And the Digimon charged right at Patrick only to be hit by a “Judgement Arrow!” Which slowed him down enough for the three of them to get out of the way, and as Sagittarimon prepared another and the Digivices once again started to glow, Steven’s priority was to keep Darren and Patrick safe above all else.

Guilmon Digivolve to… Growlmon!

Growlmon sucker-punched the Digimon in the face and got into a fist grapple with him and before the battle could go completely out of the hand, the golden armoured Digimon spoke up “Silvamon, cut it out. I shouldn’t have done that to the adorable little thing.” Silvamon looked directly at the Golden Digimon and shouted, “But Goldimon, the creature harmed you.” “Yes, because I think I was choking it.” “Y-Y-Y-Yes you were, it was painful” “I’m sorry about that, I just like cute things.” Patrick lightly bushed at being called cute, as Goldimon started to look at the humans in the group and she asked the obvious question, “You’re not from around here, are you?” The group shook their heads as a group.

Sorcerermon cast his “Freezing Illusion” into the ground, making it slippery and with the assistance of the Digimon around them working together, the whale was successfully placed back into the water and the Pirate Digimon thanked them “”Thank yee, me beloved was stuck and these little’uns needed to get back home, do yee want a lift?” “No, thank you, we know our way back.” As they walked back to the portal, Tobias noticed the massive turtle and pointed it out, to which Fred responded with, “Wow, you must have been blind to completely that thing.”

Both Ian and Paul felt confused and thought that someone was calling their name and looked behind them, again, ignoring the giant turtle island behind them.

The raven humanoid looked them with blood red eyes and a vicious snarl on his face and he pointed the sword at Aarons neck until the tip was touching it, Veemon then headbutted the humanoid, to no effect, and with a calm “Farewell.” The raven Digimon swung his sword and Catherine leapt in front of it. “CATHY!!!”

Veemon Digivolve to……… Veedramon!!!

Elecmon Digivolve to……… Leomon!!!

Veemon and Elecmon had now been replaced with a bulky and scarred reptile Digimon and a noble bipedal lion. “Y-Y-You will not touch her!” Leomon roared and he struck with “Smashing Kick!” Which knocked the Raven Digimon back a foot, and as the Digimon were engaged in a fierce brawl, Cathy and Aaron noticed that there were several eggs and small bulb like Digimon looking concerned at something, and then they noticed several of the flying lizard Digimon that Aaron had encountered the day before, swooping close to the tree and the eggs. Aaron and Cathy gathered as many eggs and Digimon as they could and just barely dodged the first lunge and then the Raven noticed what was happening and struck out with a “Harmony Sword Slash!” Slicing the lizard Digimon in half. Afterwards the raven Digimon clanged his swords together causing the bird Digimon to cease their attacks on Coredramon. “You are not who I thought you were. That means, we might have a chance. Please tell me, are there any more beings like you?” Aaron and Cath, both panting nodded, “Please, show me.” After placing the eggs and Digimon on the ground, Aaron, Catherine and Barry led the way.

Chapter 7: A Piece of the Puzzle (Truths explained by Karatenmon)

As Keith returned to the portal, now carrying Raptormon and quietly grumbling that he needed to get a lead for him, he saw Ian, Paul, Tobias, Natalie, and Fred return to the portal and as they waited for the rest to return, Keith explained that he’d found Raptormon amongst a group of small cat like Digimon and surprisingly he hadn’t gotten clawed. Nat explained the encounter with the giant whale and Ian and Paul admitted that nothing had happened whilst they were waiting around.

Patrick’s group returned with Veemon still as Sagittarimon and Guilmon as Growlmon and Steven explained their encounter with Goldimon and Silvamon, and eventually Cathy’s group returned, with Karatenmon in tow, “Please don’t attack the Digimon behind us please.” “So, it appears that we truly do have a chance, after ten years of waiting.” Steven opened his mouth to ask what he was talking about, but Tobias beat him to it, “Chance, what chance, are we in a game show or something, what the hell do you mean by chance, it makes no sense at all, admittedly nothing seems to make sense here.” “Please be polite Tobias, we’re new here and we don’t want everyone here to believe that all of us are like you.” “And that means what exactly?” “Well,” “Enough about that, enough about that, sir, why have you followed our friends.” Steven asked to which Karatenmon replied “To help you understand where you truly are.”

Karatenmon’s calm and deep voice continued to speak, “We have existed for other two hundred and fifty million years, but we have also grown at a faster tempo than your time.” “How does that make any sense?” “Maybe the clock broke or something?” “This dimension has existed for as long as yours, however we only began to exist in a time period to which something called the ‘World Wide Web’ was introduced to you, from what the legends said, we were a culmination of both dimensions unintentionally interacting and the energy not only created us Digimon but made sure that we both knew but could never fully interact with you humans.” “Huh, turns out you were right.” Darren commentated to Steven, to which he was shushed by Patrick, Natalie, and Aaron. Karatenmon continued to talk, “For over twenty million years, we had developed into different tribes and different societies all different but still in good and friendly relationships, with great heroes and champions to help and defend from threats outside of the tribes, however, one hundred years ago an intense battle endured between a monstrous evil and their armies and all champions and heroes clashed, and whilst the evil was defeated, all but a very small few of the heroes survived and so some of us had to attempt to reprise their roles, except, 10 years ago a great army arose, ruled over by the foppish KingChessmon and his powerful and threatening AxeKnightmon bodyguard, they struck and attacked as many areas as they could easily, we believed that we had no chance of fighting back, but fourteen days ago, a mysterious portal of sorts appeared blanketing the sky and for a brief moment we could see your realm through the portal, and then we realised that we could be on the same timetable as you.” “Which means?” “You humans might be the main chance that we have to prevent both your world and our world from being conquered and destroyed.”

Everyone let all the information slowly seep in and as they began to understand exactly what had been just spoken to them, and Tobias again summed up their collective thoughts perfectly, “That’s a lot of stuff to sink in.” “Well, we do have the weekend to think up ways to help out.” Steven mentioned, “Oh yeah, we better get back home soon, don’t we?” “Thanks for telling us this and well keep up the good fight, we’re in a situation where this portal changes locations and we can’t access the main portal for the next few days, apologies for this.” “Let us hope that the army does not strike your world at that point.” “I’m not so sure since I think this is the only portal connecting our worlds.” Natalie spoke up. As the group left, and they returned home, the portal shimmered away.

Chapter 8: A Time of Thought (Waiting around and discussions between Evil Forces)

For the first time that week, the sun had been covered up by a good number of clouds in the air and, so most people had fully started to wear their autumn clothing and, that was what Patrick was in as he and his very loud cousins were having a family outing so that they could look at some older buildings whilst the adults were having a family meeting. His oldest cousins, Nathan and Billy were deliberating teasing and poking fun of the younger cousins causing them to pick fights with each and after the outing was over, Pat ran into his bedroom, curled up in a little ball and quietly sobbed to himself, Guilmon concernedly watched over him.

Catherine spent her weekend happily talking to her family about the week, keeping out everything to do with Digimon in general.

A family trip to the cinema was cancelled at the last minute when Steven’s dad had to be called up to an impromptu meeting at the last minute and his mother was caught up in a thirty-five-minute-long phone call.

Keith stayed in his room the entire week, the only time he left was to buy a dog collar and leash, just in case.

Barry spent a lot of time making sure that his mom was well enough after a very bad cold and that his youngest twin sisters were quite adorably distracted by having the Dracomon pretend to be cuddly toys, even though he suspected that they might have noticed that they were far more lifelike than other cuddly toys.

Paul and Ian’s families talked to each other about Ian and his recovery, as well as talking about something that was going on in America at the time to do with their Poor class.

Natalie spent her time talking to Kendomon about her family, namely the fact that her oldest sister was engaged to be married and that she had been an embarrassment to her mother.

Fred spent his weekend playing with Himiko and talking with Chisato.

Darren and his parents went out shopping and Kudamon pretending to be a neck pillow noticed just how poorly he was being treated because of the poor class placement, not helped by Ethan Darren’s oldest brother getting arrested for shoplifting and him overhearing people saying, “The only thing a Poor person can be is a criminal.”

Michael spent his weekend fiddling and testing out Veemon’s forms so that during fights he could go into battle easily.

Aaron had a fun weekend and simply went to a football match with his dad.

Tobias spent his Saturday with his therapist, with her making sure that he was coping well and that his language was kept under control, to which he kept silent about.

As the nightly wind howled and the moon shone brightly, covered up only by a few clouds and an Airdramon or Birdramon flying past it ever so often, a meeting was convening, in a vast and decrepit castle, lit only by blue flames, around a large hexagon table, there lay several Digimon: One was a massive Hydra esque Digimon with a gaping jaw in its torso, another was a gigantic dragon completely covered by guns and weapons, another was an alien looking armoured creature, who was the second smallest of the group, and another was a semi snarling armoured dinosaur with black flaming wings, another was a roach with two scythes and leading the meeting was a very small chess like Digimon with a 5 inch crown on his head and behind him was a mighty dark armoured knight, who was watching everything diligently.

“Order, order!!” the Chess piece shouted, even though everyone was already silent at the time “So, Ebemon, how are we doing in finding these portals?” “We have located faint signs of the portals only briefly, the only larger signs are located in places that are not accessible at the moment, however, there appears to be a portal that appears in a certain area and if we can focus all our efforts onto it, we will be able to conquer that world.” “Brilliant, Brilliant!! And now, how are the pathetic ‘defence groups’ holding out?” “Those pathetic weaklings have trembled at our might and soon we will rule this world.” “However, a group has awoken with something interesting with them.” “And that would be what?” “Human’s, partnered with us Digimon.” “What?! NO, NO, NO, NO!!! That’s not possible, those flesh bags can’t even be as strong or as important as us, or especially me!” As the Chess piece consistently jumped up and down and shouted like a small child, he slowly started to glow an ominous opaque colour and the knight slowly turned and watched with immense interest, however as he started to calm down, the glow faded away and the knight lost interest, with an annoyed silent sigh. “Anyway, I know what to do with them, GRIMMON!!!!” A large medusa like creature appeared and slithered down, the glistering wings glowing and enveloping the room in gentle light, armed on one hand a large sickle and on the other, a large arm cannon, “You summoned me, your highness?” An oily voice leaked out, “Go out there and find those ‘humans’ and eliminate them at once!” “Your orders, I shall commence.” And the creature left, as the meeting was concluded and once all, but the Knight was left, he muttered under his breath, “Soon, very soon.” And he slinked away.

Chapter 9: Advancing into Darkness (Fiends, Beware the pounce of Reppamon, The Flames of Greymon and Garurumon and the Blades of BaoHuckmon and Raptordramon)

The weather was inconclusive as the school week started with an assembly to which the principal made the announcements of events that were going to be happening throughout the next two months, after wards the lessons began, and once again, the group having finished their work, they put on their coats and entered the portal.

This time they appeared in a large forest and as they prepared to split up again, Steven pointed something out “You realise, we’ll get lost if someone doesn’t stay behind as a beacon to where the portal is.” “Oh yeah, I’ve got it, Fred, Digivolve Frostlemon and after half an hour, shoot an ice blast into the air, that should help us figure out where the portal is and to point this out, Sorcermon’s attacks won’t hurt the trees and make things worse, make sense?” Catherine explained and Fred simply agreed with a smirk and nod, and after evolving Frostlemon into Sorcerermon, the group split up with Darren, Mikey, and Patrick going north from the portal, Natalie, Catherine and Aaron going west and Keith after putting on the leash, and explaining to Raptormon that it was so he didn’t get separated from him, he got dragged away by Raptormon south from the portal to which Fred tried not to laugh incredibly hard and Tobias, Steven and Barry heading east and Ian and Paul heading north west.

As Darren’s group continued north, they stated to notice an ominous fog was appearing and that it was getting thicker, until they saw several blue flaming orbs, and a bulky samurai warrior right in front of them “Trespassers, prepare to defend yourself.”

Natalie’s group as they continued to traverse the woods, noticed that several of the trees were sliced into two and the direction of them were pointing to an exit, meaning that surprisingly this could have been easy to find the exit portal after all.

Tobias and Barry continued to wander around the forest and Tobias kept getting confused by the weird noises that were occurring around them.

Ian and Paul as they were wandering around felt a sinister noise around them and then they were surrounded by a swarm of gigantic spiders.

Mikey smirked and pressed on his Digivice:

Veemon Armor-Digivolve to… Yasyamon!!!

Veemon had now become a very tall humanoid with two wooden swords and knuckles, as well as wearing a mouthless demon mask and with a chuckle, he clashed his swords against the samurai warrior’s sword, “You are young, but fierce as well, this will be entertaining to endure.” As the battle endured with consistent swish, slash, swing, and clunk noises only coming out from each of the warriors, Darren started to notice something occurring with more continuous blue flames, which were far darker and sinister, than the cool flames that the flames brought to them and then, he was nose to nose with a purple nine tailed fox.

Natalie’s group started to return to the Portal to explain what they had found out.

Tobias stated to shout, “What the hell is going on?!” which then caused something to reverberate and for several grey beetle Digimon to appear.

Ian and Paul were trapped in a very bad situation: Ian couldn’t Digivolve Impmon, since his fire attacks would make everything worse and as such needed to figure out a plan, which considering they were surrounded by spiders, was not going to be easy.

The nine tailed fox snarled at Darren, and Patrick was stunned with nothing coming out of his mouth and before the fox could attack, Kudamon used “Twirling Tackle!” to crash into the fox’s nose and its eyes focused onto Kudamon. Darren looked at Mikey and Yasyamon, both of whom were fully engaged in the duel, and then at Patrick who was visibly shaking, and he realised that he needed to prepare for battle and the Digivice glowed…

Kudamon Digivolve to… Reppamon!!!

Kudamon had become much larger and now was wearing a fox mask and had a tail which was now a zig-zag blade. He growled at the fox who lunged at him, and he quickly dodged out of the way, but he then struck out with a “Razor Wind!” which not only struck the fox but disappeared the blue flames, causing the Samurai warrior to become disoriented and he snarled at the fox “You, Youkomon! Interfering with my duels again! Taste true flames! Ninja Blazing Blade!” His sword became fully enveloped in true blue flames and the sword with a swift action sphered away the Fox Digimon. “I apologise for what occurred, that fox enjoys interfering and causing problems for me in particular, I shall leave you in peace.”

Natalie arrived first and waited for everyone else to arrive.

Barry quickly Digivolved both Dracomon and used several “Tail Smashers!” to knock away the Digimon, to which Tobias summed it up easily, “That was quick.” As they turned around, they noticed the swarm of spiders close to them and before they could strike, three beams of light came from three different areas.

Keith had finally been able to get Raptormon under control and soon afterwards three spider Digimon of the swarm appeared and despite everything as one of the spiders attacked with a “Poison Thread” Keith placed himself in front of the attack and the Digivice began to glow.

Ian was trying to think of anything to do to protect Paul, but he was running out of time and then Ruffmon started to snarl and act very similar to Ian in general, and Paul smiled.

An intense battle was now afoot with multiple new creatures in combat with the spider swarm, Agumon had now become a large orange dinosaur with a beetle like headpiece adorning his head. Gabumon had changed into a tall, long blue wolf with a twirling tail. Raptormon had changed the most out of the Digimon, now becoming a yellow cyborg reptile adorned with a metal wing back on its chest and two metal arms and what could have appeared to be metal hair on its head. Ruffmon had merely become a slightly bigger version of itself with goggles on their mantle. The swarm was easily taken out and admittedly so was a large amount of the forest and as the group united at the portal and Natalie led them to the trees which pointed to bizarrely, a large disused factory, the grey beetles reported to Grimmon who was waiting for their prey.

Chapter 10: A Grimm Encounter (Intense Clash with Grimmon! Final Evolution, Guardromon Attack!)

The group stood outside the factory, it appeared disused and abandoned, parts of the machinery were rusted and inactive, the front doors were partly open and soon before they stepped forwards, they felt a sudden gust come from behind them and in front of them was a tall green robot dog, with tall wing like appendages attached to the head, “Hey ya, ain’t seen you around, you new here?” The group consecutively nodded in unison, “Cool this will be fun to explore, let’s go.” And with that, he dashed into the factory and Mikey responded with, “Well, that happened.”


As the group ventured into the factory, they could hear noises that sounded like record scratches echoing around them and they then noticed that with the light slowly streaming in seemed to be fading away until they heard and loud SLAM, as the door closed behind them. Patrick began to visibly shudder immediately after to which Keith replied with “Breath in with nose and out of your mouth.” Patrick did exactly what he had been told to do, and he was recovering quickly, to which Steven and Darren happily clapped Keith on the back, and then they heard a rushing noise and once again, they saw the green robot dog right ahead of them, pointing his hand at something in front of him.


The group ran towards him to which the robot shouted out “Hey, stay back! This thing is too dangerous for you guy’s but not for me! RAPID FIRE!!!” Several missiles struck the being in front of him to which the being was forced back, but as the robot started posing, an oily and ominous laugh echoed around them and a large purple light was encompassing the being, which was a massive serpent like creature with a maned skeletal face with wing like appendages on its back and a sceptre like claw on its left hand and a large cannon on the other and the creature boomed out “CHRONO… DESTRUCTION!!!” An enormous blast of energy was expelled from the Digimon’s body and the group was confused at what was happening until they looked in shock as the large robot was enveloped by the purple energy and his form immediately started to shrink from the robot, to a shorts wearing bipedal dog, to a small long eared little rabbit, to a horned blob to finally a small one eared blob, and before the Digimon could even move, the serpent like Digimon slammed their claw into both the new blob like Digimon and ground creating a shockwave and killing the Digimon. No words were said for fifteen seconds until they noticed something just as bad, except for Gearmon who was at the back of the group looking at something in philosophical debate, all the Partners had changed into very small and weakened forms and they looked up in horror at the serpent whose arm was trapped in the ground, “Run, separate now!” Steven called out and the group scampered away into different directions.


The footsteps echoed around them as they were all in separate areas of the factory and they could all hear an audible grunt of the serpent Digimon releasing their arm and as they started to whisper and point at certain areas for them to try and hide, Aaron and Steven heard a record noise like scratch coming over their heads and as they looked up they saw the insect Digimon that Steve had encountered just before to which they started to make a high pitched screech and they then heard a violent cackle and as they continued to run the beetles followed. Mikey and Darren were hiding in the rafters, and they could see the serpent right next to them laughing and moving away from them towards Aaron and Steve, they then exhaled and snuck away. Natalie and Fred were clutched to each other in a corner very tightly not trying to make any noise in case they were found, and they were terrified. Keith was trying to figure out a way out of the situation he was now in, and his mind was coming up blank. Paul was making sure that Ian was behind him at all costs to make sure he was not in harm’s way, to the best of his ability. Patrick was beginning to occur an utter mental breakdown and he was becoming a beacon for the monstrous Grimmon. Catherine and Barry were trying to make sure that their baby Digimon did not make any squeaks to alert the beetles and Grimmon.


Tobias and Gearmon wear trying to in the best of their ability to hide and as Gearmon was about to start talking again Tobias immediately covered up his hand and started to whisper “Shush, you speaking smart is going to be the worst thing in this situation and, and I don’t want to die.” Gearmon stopped, slowly turned to look at him and spoke carefully, “It appears that the best thing to do, would be to slow down this Grimmon to give everyone enough time, to recover and to take, him, down.” “How?” Gearmon pointed with his gears upwards, pointing out a large mechanical crane, “Brilliant, just brilliant.” Tobias squeaked out.


Both Tobias and Gearmon sneaked past the beetles by throwing rocks into walls to distract the Digimon so that they could not only get to the crane, but also so that their friends would not get caught. They climbed up the crane and then they heard a screech noise and Gearmon launched himself at the noise.


Gearmon Digivolve to… Guardromon!!!


“Warning Lasers!” Red hot beams of light shot out of the now tubbier looking brown robot which hit the beetles who created a painful sounding screaming noise and during that distraction Tobias controlled the crane, gave it a good swing, and slammed the crane arm right into Grimmon which sent him flying and he smashed into a wall and as he tried to move out of it, the wall collapsed on him. Tobias safely got down from the crane and dashed to meet up with the rest of the group and the beetles who were still making noise were easily taken out by Guardromon with his “Grenade Destroyer” attack, and thankfully the Digimon finally returned to their main forms and as Grimmon broke out of his temporary containment, the battle was ready to begin.

“Let’s do this!” The group cried out as Grimmon charged towards them and the battle began. Grimmon attacked with his claw arm, to which Reppamon and Gladius clashed with “Lion Claw” and “Wheel Rush” which stopped him his tracks allowing for Blazemon and Leomon to strike him in the chest with “Burning Blazing Fist” and “Fist of the Beast King” knocking him backwards twenty feet and causing him to slam into the ground, consecutively Gruffmon and Veedramon attacked with “V-Nova Blast” and “Bladed Strike” each attack injuring and enraging Grimmon. “ROOOAARRRR!!!! How can you, irritating brats harm me, the lethal executioner, Grimmon!?” He bellowed out loud, his oily voice shrieking all around them, Keith responded kindly, “For an executioner, you’re doing a pathetic job!”

Some of the group yelled in agreement and as Grimmon stood up he was bombarded by a flurry of “Grenade Destroyers!” “Right on Tobias!” Darren shouted, to which Tobias merely smirked and gave a thumbs-up and as Grimmon charged up his energy cannon, Growlmon, Greymon and both Coredramon’s struck it with “Pyro Blaster” “Nova Flame” and “Flare Breath” causing a massive explosion to occur to the cannon and a venomous growl bellowed from him, “We need to finish this now!”

“I’ve got a plan that will work! Sorcerermon, ready to cool him down?” “Absolutely! Ice Illusion!” A large amount of ice and snow encased the bottom half of his body in ice causing Grimmon to resort to only making snarls and roars at the group, “He’s definitely gone off us, hasn’t he?” Blazemon commentated. “It’s time to conclude this right here, right now!” “Hell yeah!” All the Digimon attacked the chest with as many attacks as they could, “Magma Blast!” “Nova Flame!” “Dino Kick!” “Thunder Blade!” “Fist of the Beast King!” “Warning Lasers!” “Flare Breath!” “Sword Dancer!” “Razor Wind!” “Sub-Zero Ice Fang!” “Slash Claw Slice!” “Dino Slash!” All the attacks combined created an immense amount of pain and anger to be borne on Grimmon’s face and finally with a combine shriek and roar, Grimmon exploded into cubes and faded away. Afterwards a great cry of triumph came from the crowd and the group was smiling as they returned home.
