A Heartfelt poem-or internal gas- regarding Cupid.

Et tu Cupid?

Oh Cupid, you lil' flyin' pest,
Why you shoot me in the rear?
I was chillin,' mindin' my business,
Then
bam!--I love Deb from HR.

Your aim is Wack, your arrows curse,
I love the corpse flower with deep remorse.
You hit the dog, you hit the mail,
Now Mrs. Jenkins loves her pumpkins.

You winged my dad and Auntie May,
Now they slow dance to Lawrence Welk.
And my goldfish? Head over fins-
Loves the vacuum. It's where it always begins.

You missed the lovers, missed the pair,
But nailed the toaster-now it's beside itself.
My fridge proposed to the garden gnome,
This love chaos is not what I need.

There. It's done. I offer this poem to the world.
Zero pride and full regret. It rhymes like a seizure,
Meters are like a drunken lovelorn text,
It has the emotional depth of a novelty spoon.

Line Count: 20 (Give or take a handful)

Prompt: Something-something-something - - I am pretty sure it had to do with Slam Cupid Poetry, or maybe well water - same difference.
