Planet Marf

A formal inquiry into the disappearance of the Potato Heads from the planet Marf.

The panel of investigators had gathered at the inquest. Their goal was to determine what happened at planet Marf. All evidence points to the Potato Heads being eradicated from the planet.

The Potatoes had been purposefully placed on the planet to cultivate the land and bring prosperity to its inhabitants. Something very sinister happened in their disappearance.

Crime scene photos were circulated among the panel. The pictures showed a boot here and there scattered upon the ground. An ear here and there lying as if they were tossed.

Mr. Potato Head’s hat was photographed over by the tractor. Then there were the noses and lips lying neatly on the ground by aluminum foil. Some wondered if the foil was partly remains of some kind a reentry vehicle? As it was noted some of the foil had evidence of extreme heat.

Dr Carbo and his senior science advisor Hydrates had been known to frequently visit the planet but both remained silent during the investigation. Another phenomenon was all the butter was missing on the planet.

One of the panelist quietly whispered to another that Carbo and Hydrates had mysteriously gained a few pounds recently. Others began to see the light and whisper Carbo and Hydrates status in the community needed to be lowered.

Then more whispers followed. No more Carbo & Hydrates working together. The investigation didn’t come to a conclusion in the open but in secret they knew what needed to be done. Carbo and Hydrates needed to be eliminated from the team for the better of mankind and space exploration.
