The adventure of fishing

She showed me crazy rich |Asians,
said I wouldn’t understand.
She forgot how I met her,
In that Heathen dating land
I was on Match just trolling along
In my mid-thirties, my danger was gone
Beware ye young men of fish in the pond

When you break the surface
With a hook and some bait
You find what is waiting
Below the dark lake
You might catch a piranha
Should you make some mistake;
Dreams-that keep you awake.

There may be Octopus hiding below
Twirling their tentacles-
They won’t let you go.
Beware fisher’s of this big lake
Breaking the surface
You seal your own fate
Here on the dock you must awake

I don't go fishing there anymore
I have my own prize
I was cured that's for sure
I don't have to worry
or stay up at night
For I am far from dark seas
And walk in the light
