One Valentine's Day of my life singing a song that my three brothers Love to Sing.

The Song " My Love"

I was in third year High School and one of the contestants in the School's Valentine's
Day Singing Contest .
It was held at the School's Social Hall and the Emcee was my Classmate.
It started at 1 p.m.

Mama made my long jet hair into a French Twist and place a small red ribbon in it. I was wearing the red sleeveless plated red dress that MAMA especially sewed for me.
I was wearing a red flat shoes too .
I love everything that I was wearing, and my three brothers commented " A very beautiful young lady in red but there's no Valentine ". I replied :
I have three Valentines with three different heights "" Bewildered , they chorushed :
" Who ?" I said loudly with a smile :
" Nelson , Jerey and Eldie ". They all laughed and said " We Agree ".

The Program or Contest started right on time. I was the last contestant , there were five of us and the rest were all boys So the Emcee said, "" I was the Rose among the thorns ."
As I was being called I moved forward to the stage where the Emcee was standing.
He exclaimed " WOW ! Naomi !
Red dress, red shoes and red ribbon on your hair. You truly represents a Happy Valentines. May I ask you a personal question in the presence of the whole school ?"
" Yes "" I eagerly replied . The crowd was in complete silence and he spoke " Will You be my Valentine ! " The crowd applauded and yelled " Yes ! Yes ! Yes !"
Then I quickly replied " I already have three Valentines, one is a basketball star, then a great performer and the last but not the least , A Math Prince "
The crowd sighed " Oh ! "And shouted, " Three, who are they ?" The Emcee seconded
" Who are they ?"
I said again smiling" Nelson, Jerey and Eldie and today I will be singing their Favorite song which happens to be my favorite song too."
The Emcee sighed and said " I can never ever compete with your brothers , and what song ! "
I replied " My Love ".
Emcee : Let us all welcome the tall, tan and lovely Naomi with her song ...
I forwarded to the center stage . As the pianist started playing , I gave my sweetest smile and started singing with all my heart and soul as the Social Hall was in complete silence ,

I made a bow . A warm applause and when it was silent the Emcee said , May I have a copy of the lyrics of the song, Naomi? "
"Yes...I will give You " I promise and truly did give him a copy of the lyrics . I won
First Prize of 500 hundred pesos in that Contest. I gave the money to Mama and Mama , Papa and my brothers were very happy for me . Thanks to the song
My Love .

A week later I received a letter delivered by the PostMan. When I opened it , it was a Love letter and with the lyrics of the song as the last part of his letter. I showed the letter to my brothers and they looked at each other and laughed together..then I said
" He loves the song too "

The Emcee eventually became a Priest and happened to be the very good friend of my brothers nowadays. And one of their topics in their conversations was this song and that unforgettable Valentines Day of my life
