Soon Comes The Sun

about better weather as we all await the sunshine.

The sky is grey, like silt from a fire
I decided to write a small poem for you
Soon comes the sun and it will be fun
People will play and children will too.

Ice cream and chocolate, BBQ's and music
All in the street and back gardens at home
Dance with me now as we celebrate life
Under the moonlight I'll make you my wife.

Rejoice in the freedom that life offers to us
Drinking fizzy cola no time to fuss
I take your hand and lead you to yonder
Lay by my side in fields of wonder.

Happiness comes as the sky turns blue
Try not to worry, we'll all get through
Be at peace with me here and now
Soon comes the sun, party? you know just how.
