For anyone who loves camp. Community and connection are really all you need.

Woke up at camp,
my clothes were damp.
The air was frosty,
the lake mossy.
The thought of Hot Cocoa sounded yummy,
I knew it would warm my tummy.
The sky was blue,
the most beautiful hue.
The smell of eggs,
energized me to move my legs.
I walked through the wet grass,
and sat with the mass of camp mates,
my feet dropping like they had weights.
I got no sleep last night,
because I felt I had frostbite.
Juan our counselor,
was basically our housemother.
He gave me the warm plate,
and I hurried and ate.
I love this camp so much,
I have such a great bunch
of people to be surrounded around.
Life is still worth living without a bunch of sound.
