Life is a party

Someone told me the phases of life.
Young adults seek riches and to
Accumulate possessions.
Adults seek love and stability.
Middle Age we seek to
Understand life, our place in it.
Later years we seek respect or forgiveness.

My life was a party & an adventure
I was Young trying to find the party.
I was an Adult trying to love and be loved.
I became Middle age HEY! What happened to the party.
Later years who cares what I think?

Final years … Another day in the life.
Some good, some bad, some in between.
Don’t care what anyone thinks.
Not wanting to hurt myself or anyone else.

Now I am just …
Having fun for as long as I can.
While I can.
The past is done
The future unknown.
