Windowshopping for the old and quirky version for me. For anyone who feels self conscious.

She used to be grateful for all the things she had,
but now she's sad and mad, like never before.
Who is this new girl she sees in the store?
She has the beautiful hair and all the flair.
She wears the most beautiful gowns,
and is the talk of the town,
She gets set with the most bedazzled crowns.
She never frowns.
Looking oddly familiar with a particular chance.
Maybe I can try her clothes on just this once,
So I can own it, taking away her moment.
Why can't I be the beauty queen she seems to be?
She can pull of a big weird hat,
And chunky jewlery.
She steals the show,
Can contently, say no.
Why can't I have her glow?
She can breathe free,
While talking to people in store.
She's all the galore.
She doesn't pose for crows,
but because she knows,
This is her calling,
to radiate her,
feminine beauty,
that's always been in
her, she just knows how
to be happy,
And never has to stir
drama, to be heard.
She dishes out compliments randomly,
The customers immediately seem happy.
She embraces all of her many quirks,
like how she may not be very tall,
or the fact that she her arms look like a doll.
Light glimmers around her,
I've never seen this much grace.
She's not just the base,
Shining on her round face.
But the whole entire package.
She knows what she's here for,
It's not just a store,
for her to sit there bored.
It's her stage, to showcase her
brilliant skills.
It really draws people in,
Let that sink in.
